SINT MAARTEN/THE NETHERLANDS – Human bones found by a walker in woods near the Gelderland village of Hummelo are those of missing Dutchman Ger Homma, police have confirmed following dna tests.
The body and a wallet with ID suggesting it was Homma were found in dense woodland earlier this month. Homma, 60, disappeared from a homeless persons’ hostel in 2010 and was still listed as missing on the politie.nl website.
Forensic experts have told the police there are no indications the man died violently, and it is likely to have been a natural death. (DutchNews)
