SURFACE WINDS:
Tonight through Wednesday evening: West to south southwest with a light to gentle breeze of 04 to 12 mph, becoming lighter and variable at times.

SYNOPSIS:

The weak Atlantic high-pressure ridge will continue to generate light winds and support a dry atmosphere. A combination of daytime heating and patches of moisture drifting with the wind flow could produce a few local showers.

Hazardous marine conditions will prevail for the next few days as long period swells generated by Tropical Storm Epsilon invade Atlantic waters. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution.

STATE OF THE SEA:  Moderate to rough         WAVES/SWELLS: 5 to 9 feet

SPECIAL FEATURES:  Tropical Storm Epsilon is moving slowly in the central Atlantic Ocean, and away from the local region. This system does not pose a direct threat to St. Maarten.

The Meteorological Department of St. Maarten will continue to monitor this system.

OUTLOOK through Thursday evening: Fair to partly cloudy with few local showers.
