SINT MAARTEN (PHILIPSBURG) - The urgent Central Committee meeting to be held today Monday, June 29, 2020 at 16:00 hrs with agenda points noted below has been posted until Tuesday, June 30 at 4.00PM:

  1. Approval travel for the President of Parliament to attend the funeral on Curacao of the Member of Parliament and ex-Chairman Mr. W. W. Millerson on July 4, 2020 (IS/990/2019-2020 dated June 25, 2020)
  2. Discussion on the new entity that will oversee the allotment and disbursement of the third tranche and any further liquidity support (IS/993/2019-2020 dated June 26, 2020)

 

ARCHIVE - PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten – The House of Parliament will sit in an urgent Central Committee meeting on, June 29, 2020.

The Central Committee meeting is scheduled for Monday at 16.00 hrs. and will be held in a virtual setting. The Minister of General Affairs will be in attendance. 

The agenda points are:

Due to measures taken to mitigate the coronavirus (COVID-19), the House of Parliament is only allowing persons with an appointment to enter the Parliament building.
