A drier and more stable air mass with Saharan dust is moving into the region. As a result, significant precipitation will be restricted. Nevertheless, a brief local shower is possible across the forecast area.
Seas will remain moderate to rough before subsiding from tomorrow. The small craft advisory remains in effect for above normal seas until 12pm tomorrow. Small craft operators and sea-bathers should continue exercising caution.

SPECIAL FEATURE: As of 5:00 pm, Tropical Storm Bret degraded in a tropical wave over the southern Caribbean. Additionally, Tropical Storm Cindy formed in the Gulf of Mexico and is expected to move towards the north northwest. On current forecast tracks, these systems pose no threat to St. Maarten.
